In my last post I highlighted the fact that the iPad was becoming as much more prominent at work and so this was being reflected by the amount of iPad and iPad 2 cases that were designed for this purpose You have the iPad folio cases, the
This offering from Booqpad is a classic iPad 2 notebook case. It comes in very stylish Nappa leather and is actually designed to be used conveniently whether you are right or left handed. It has a well thought out storage area for all your pens, iPad stylus, business cards or other extras you need to carry round with you. They have included a 50 sheet A5 notepad which apparently is made from “30% post-consumer materials and printed with soy ink” whatever that means. However it is handy to have a notepad close because should you get any brilliant ideas while using the iPad you can write them down quick before they are gone. As you can see from the image it is well crafted product and gives all the usual features of iPad protection and easy access to all functions once in the case.

Piel Frama iPad 2 Case
Residing in Spain I though it apt to include a product from this region so here is the Piel Frama iPad 2 case. Handmade in Spain from local materials Piel Frama products are well known for eco friendly manufacturing processes, superior quality, workmanship and attention to detail. This results in a high quality finish on all their products in including the iPad 2 case range but this does come at a cost and of the four cases shown here this one is the most expensive. The features are pretty standard with a magnets case closure system and a magnetic auto sleep function. There is one main storage pocket inside for documents, cards, etc. There is a good range of classic shades to choose from when ordering. If you feel like treating yourself or someone you know to a bit of luxury this case fits the bill.

Portenzo iPad 2 Book Case
A great looking iPad 2 notebook case that when opened reveals a handmade “American Maple” frame with rounded corners for a sleeker smoother image. This frame actually gives the case a quality hard-back book feel but does ensure that the iPad is held in their securely and fully protected.
Inside you can get to choose which interior colour you prefer and you can then download the same colour as your iPad wallpaper for a more visually appealing image. There doesn´t seem to be any inside pockets or sleeves for storing which is a little disappointing but you can get (for an extra 10 bucks) a stylus/pen holder.
For a more personal touch you can have your name or company name or any other text embossed on the front cover. This cost a further $15 and is available on both the standard and retro iPad 2 cases.
Other features include the automatic sleep/wake mechanism when closing and opening the case as seen on the Apple Smart Case and an intriguing “Audio-Flow Sound Chamber” which apparently boosts audio quality and directs it toward the iPad user. There is no specific stand available but you can view the iPad without hands when the cover is fully opened.

Griffin iPad 2 case – Executive Passport iPad 2 notebook case
I like most of the iPad 2 accessories designed by Griffin and this Griffin iPad 2 case is no different. With a name like the Executive Passport you can tell this iPad 2 case was made specifically for being used in the workplace. It is comes in a soft genuine leather and the interior is finished off in microsuede for optimum iPad comfort. In comparison with the others this offers more storage options for documents, business or credit cards. The case cover closes with an all around zip action so the iPad is completely covered when not in use. This case does not have the auto sleep/wake function.
