For all you who love to cook but can´t bear to be away from the iPad there are a number of stands being produced at the moment for use in the kitchen and one of the most popular is the Belkin Chef stand and stylus.
As the iPad infiltrates more or and more of our daily living it was inevitable that we would be using them in the kitchen and Belkin have recognised this need and developed the Chef stand, a fridge mount for the iPad and a cabinet mount for use on the kitchen. This review is just about the Belkin Chef stand because of the three products I think this one is probably more useful and worth your investment.
It seems we are all budding chefs these days and having an iPad to help you knock up your favourite dish is now really useful. No longer do you have to keep peering at a recipe book trying to figure out what you need and how much of each ingredient. With the access to the internet or using some of the great iPad apps available you now have clear information on measurements, recipes or even watch your favourite chefs and follow along.
The problem was that without a stand it is difficult to view the iPad properly plus you risk the chance of spillage and smears from messy fingers etc.
This is why the Belkin Chef stand was developed so you can now view the tablet at a much more convenient angle that takes it off the potentially wet kitchen surfaces. The base is non slip rubber so it can be sure it will sit nice and secure. There are 2 possible viewing angles, one low for up and close cooking and a higher more vertical position for watching at a distance.
What makes the Belkin Chef stand so cool is that is comes with a magnetic tipped stylus that allows you to interact with the touch screeen without actually having to touch it. This means you can just wave the stylus in front of the iPad and browse away through the internet or scroll through your recipes without having to keep washing your hands every 2 minutes.

This lets you keep on cooking without fear of getting mess over everything which is what normally happens to me every time I am let loose in the kitchen.
Oh, and just so you know if you do lose control all the equipment can be washed off with soap and water. However just to be extra vigilant, I would make sure you have a good iPad screen protector to minimise any display smearing from splashes or hot spitting foods.
If you love to cook or just want to look cool using your iPad in the kitchen then the Belkin Chef stand and stylus is a great little iPad accessory and with xmas approaching quick could make the perfect present.
