Amazing Nomad Brush

When we heard about an iPad stylus that was actually a paintbrush, we were to say the least – very cynical.

Amazing Nomad Brush

So we got our hands on one and this is what we thought…

The Amazing Nomad Brush features a walnut and carbon handle.  The soft ferrule grip will never scratch your screen and is comfortable to hold.  The brush tip is 0.7″ long, and is a blend of natural and synthetic fibers.  Nomad have married traditional brush making techniques with modern materials to provide you the perfect tool for creating on your iPad and other touchscreen devices.

Good Looking and Great Feel

When you  hold the Nomad Brush it feels like a paintbrush.  But what was immediately apparent about the Nomad Brush is the excellent quality of its construction.

It feels like a very high quality paintbrush and the bristles are soft as if they had been made from the finest hairs used in artists paintbrushes.

The amazing nomad brush

Does it work…?    OH YES – It works!

We started ‘painting’ with the Nomad Brush and we all had a big smile!!!  It was a pleasure to use  and the more we used it the better we understood the overall capabilities of the brush.

It didn’t take us very long to adapt to using this stylus as a brush.  Okay, so the experience is not exactly like using a paintbrush and applying water colours or oils onto a canvas, however to me, it felt completely natural to use a realistic brushing action and depending on the paint tool selected some real painting techniques are truly possible with this brush.

These brushes cost $24 and it you ask me that is a bargain.

So to all you budding artists out there, if you have an ipad get an amazing nomad brush!!!

Totally Great!! Thanks for the review guys. I bought one of these on the strength of your recommendation and it really is fun. I’m an artist and I find it a little difficult adapting to a pen. This is pretty realistic especially after practice.

Cheers and you now have a new follower!!
